Built on a love of good food, warm hospitality, and Yemeni heritage, Bon Arabica is a place where tradition brings people together.

At Bon Arabica, coffee is an invitation to gather. Our café is inspired by the flavours, artistry, and generous hospitality of Yemen — one of the world’s oldest coffee-producing countries. Whether you are discovering Yemeni coffee for the first time or reconnecting with a familiar taste of home, we invite you to stay awhile, share a pot, and enjoy the moment.
Our family’s experience stretches from a five-star kitchen in Beirut to a New York deli café — brought together here with a love of Yemeni heritage.
Yemeni coffee is cultivated on steep agricultural terraces in the western highlands. In a dry, mountainous environment, generations of farmers have used terracing and water-harvesting knowledge to grow coffee under demanding conditions.
The word "mocha" comes from Al-Makha, Yemen's historic coffee-exporting port on the Red Sea. The word's coffee story begins with a real Yemeni place and the trade that connected Yemeni beans with the wider world.
Much Yemeni coffee is dried whole — the cherry with the seed inside — before the dried fruit is removed. Combined with local varieties and highland growing, this creates remarkably complex cups.
Bold, aromatic coffee prepared in the Yemeni tradition — served for slow sipping and sharing.
A light, fragrant infusion of dried coffee-cherry husks and ginger. Gently spiced, uniquely Yemeni.
Black tea simmered with milk and warming spices for a creamy, aromatic cup.
A smooth Yemeni-style coffee enriched with milk and aromatic spices.
In Yemeni hospitality, something sweet always sits beside the pot. Pull-apart honeycomb bread, delicate honey-glazed sabaya, date cake, baklava, and pistachio cheesecake — made to be shared.
Green mountain terraces, warm earth, carved woodwork, graceful arches — from the highlands to Hadramaut and Socotra.
